More About Anita
My role in education has evolved through the years. I have earned degrees in Speech Pathology and Audiology, and in Elementary Education. I have enjoyed working both as a Speech Therapist in public schools and as an elementary classroom teacher. The core thread that has run through my years of teaching has been Literacy.

From 1999 until my retirement, I worked as a remedial reading teacher in the South Royalton School System. I have completed all of the requirements for Wilson Reading System (WRS) Level 1 Certification. The Wilson Reading Program is a multi-sensory, structured language approach to reading.
​
In October 2016, I earned the recognition as a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner. (W.D.P.)
